Welcome to the Wingrave with Rowsham Heritage Association Website
The Manor House, Wingrave
The Wingrave with Rowsham Heritage Association arose from the Wingrave Archive Association founded in 2001. The Association’s principal purpose is to investigate and record the history of the villages of Wingrave and Rowsham in Buckinghamshire (UK).
This website includes information and pictures collected by Association members that reflect the past, both people and places. We hope you find the website interesting and informative. If you have any comments, additional data or knowledge that you are able to share we would love to hear from you (see our Contact page).
New members are always welcome (subscription £10 per year). You can join by contacting us or at one of the regular Heritage Association events held in the village; see the News section of this website for details of forthcoming events.
A grant from Community Chest (Aylesbury Vale District Council) helped us launch our website and lottery funding was used to assist in the provision of more data. A local company, Office Innovation, built this website on our behalf and generously continues to host and maintain it for the Association. We are grateful for this tremendous support.
